Truth:

COVID-19 is caused by a new, entirely different virus than the flu and thus requires a separate vaccine. While a vaccine is in development, known medications are ineffective in preventing COVID-19

COVID-19 is an airborne virus

Truth:

COVID-19 is not an airborne virus, which means the virus does not float in the air for a long time. While COVID-19 seems to be more contagious than the seasonal flu, it is much less than highly contagious airborne viruses, like measles or chickenpox.
