During a comprehensive evaluation, the physicians at Dialysis Access Center conduct a thorough review of the patient’s risk profile as well as their medical history and carefully consider the best treatment options for each individual. “We take the time to thoroughly explain the procedure in a clear, understandable manner and we give priority to patient education in order to mitigate the unknown and reduce anxiety. As a team, our ultimate goal is to improve the patient’s quality of life,” explains Dr. Misick.
