Dr. Steven Cyr and Leann Cyr, founders of the Orthopaedic & Spine Institute, have embarked on a mission to create an entertaining, educational platform that disabled, sick and injured children can relate to. Indeed, Dr. Steven Cyr explained that the overarching purpose of the comic series “is to show that sickness and disability are not scary, and to give these kids superheroes that they can call their very own.”

Released July 2015, OsteoCorps has received a remarkably warm welcome from the medical community, comic fans and parents alike. With the premier issue available in both print and digital formats, it’s clear that the Cyr’s mission of reaching and comforting children is multi-pronged and undoubtedly bound for further success.

Recently, OsteoCorps was featured on the San Antonio Living show for their impressive venture. They’re currently preparing to release their second issue in the OsteoCorps series and will be featured on TexasMDMonthly.com.
